I have known Juliet & Dave Clendenon, for nearly twenty years. During that time I have taken care of Juliet and her husband Dave’s dogs as their veterinarian. I have also been aware and I have observed them handling dogs at their training school, “Lead Me On”. I have also observed Juliet as she has shown dogs at dog shows where I have been an observer, or at times, functioned as the show veterinarian.
Throughout the years, I have always been impressed with Juliet’s comfort and ease in working with dogs in a variety of situations. She is poised and professional, yet she expects and commands the respect and obedience of the dogs. In all of the time that I have known Juliet, I have never seen her loose her temper, or in any way handle a dog in a heavy handed or unkind way.
As a person, and in our business relationship, I have found Juliet to be a very forthright and honest person. Whenever there have been any issues which needed to be discussed or any feedback which Juliet felt that we needed to hear, Juliet has always been open and honest, yet kind and constructive. In our discussions, she has been willing and open in her willingness to listen and see things from others perspectives.
From my perspective, we have had a wonderful business relationship, as well as a great friendship. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Juliet Clendenon as a person, trainer, or handler.

I have been acquainted with Juliet for over 25 years in a number of capacities, and believe, that she represents the pinnacle of ethics and professionalism. In the past, we have co-owned and bred a number of dogs, including BIS CH. Aspenglo Bobsleigh, SDHF, and she excels as a groomer and is a talented dog exhibitor. Juliet Clendenon first taught me how to train and handle my Havanese show girl (Ariel) and was a wonderful teacher and mentor throughout the process. When time (or lack thereof) became an issue for me, I hired her to take my girl to five shows in Colorado. She won three out of the five shows and came home with 7 points, including a major! Juliet is fabulous at grooming and treats the dogs like royalty. My dog never looked better than when Juliet groomed her for a show, and I could not have been more pleased with what she was able to accomplish. Ariel knew Juliet loved her, and that combined with Juliet's expertise resulted in Ariel performing beautifully for her. Juliet is very forthright and honest in her dealings with me and I appreciate that so much. I have some show puppies coming up...whenever I need a professional handler, I will hire Juliet. She has become a valued mentor and friend. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone who wants the very best for their dog.
